Anne-Louise Felstead
Maserati A6 Coupe, Goodwood Festival of Speed 2010

Anna-Louise Felstead is a London based reportage artist and illustrator who draws and paints on location. Her work focuses on many different and varied subjects and she enjoys putting herself in environments that are usually only documented by photographers. On location she paints with ink on paper due to the fact it dries quickly and is easy to transport, however she has recently begun to work on a much larger scale in acrylic or oil on canvas. Her style varies between black and white line drawings to vibrantly coloured paintings.

In 2009 Anna-Louise opened an art gallery for 18 months in Port Isaac (North Cornwall). Many of her paintings from this period are shown under 'Cornish Scenes.' Previous projects have included stints aboard HMS Cornwall and HMS Illustrious with the Royal Navy, where she documented scenes from a military life at sea which resulted in two solo exhibitions and commissions from the MoD. Since graduating from The Royal College of Art in 2003 she has had her work published in many magazines and exhibited in various group and solo shows. Her work has taken her backstage at London Fashion Week, to the Cartier polo in St.Moritz and Dubai and most recently onto the Classic Car race track.

Over the last four years Anna-Louise has traveled around the world painting at Monaco, Monza, Dijon, Silverstone, Goodwood, the Nurburgring, Paul Ricard, Spa, Portimao, Monteblanco and Pebble Beach, not only to depict the cars, but the people involved with racing. Her latest series of 'Naughty Car Paintings' have proved very popular and have been featured in Octane Magazine.

Another recent project has been to design the logo and illustrations for celebrity chef James Martin's new food website Life Fork & Spoon. (www.lifeforkspoon.co.uk)
